# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • Everything bagel seasoning transforms basic ingredients into something genuinely crave-worthy without any fussing.
  • It holds up beautifully in the fridge, tasting even better the next day when the flavors really settle in.
  • You can prep it ahead for the whole week and actually look forward to lunch instead of scrounging at noon.
02 -
  • Rinsing the pasta under cold water is not optional, it stops the starch from making everything gluey and keeps the salad light.
  • Let it chill for at least 30 minutes or the dressing will taste flat and the vegetables won't have released their flavors yet.
  • If the salad looks dry after sitting in the fridge overnight, stir in a spoonful of yogurt or a splash of lemon juice to bring it back.
03 -
  • Toast the everything bagel seasoning in a dry pan for 30 seconds before mixing it in, it deepens the flavor and makes the whole dish smell incredible.
  • Use rotisserie chicken and pre-cut vegetables if you're in a rush, no one will know and you'll actually make the recipe instead of putting it off.
  • Taste the dressing before adding it to the salad, it should be bold and well-seasoned because the pasta will dilute it.
