Recipe FAQs

How do I assemble the banana snowmen?

Stack three banana slices vertically, spreading peanut butter between each to hold them together. Attach decorations with gentle pressure or a dab of honey if needed.

What can I use instead of peanut butter?

Sunflower seed butter is a great nut-free alternative that maintains the creamy texture needed to hold the pieces together.

How can I keep the snowmen from browning?

To slow browning, prepare the snowmen just before serving or lightly brush banana slices with lemon juice.

Are there gluten-free options for the pretzel arms?

Yes, gluten-free pretzel sticks can be used without compromising the crunchy texture of the arms.

Can I substitute other fruits for decoration?

Absolutely. Blueberries, dried cranberries, or other small fruits work well for eyes, buttons, or hats.

Is honey necessary for the decorations?

Honey is optional; it helps the decorations stick better but can be omitted depending on preference or dietary restrictions.
